The ringless wife..

So my husband and I got married last year, no wedding or rings. I was ok with that b/c we were having financial troubles. Things have picked up, we parted ways for a few short months b/c of issues, but now we're working through our problems. Still no ring.. He doesn't even mention it. I'm ok with just a band. But he doesn't want that. People always ask if I'm married, I say yes and they look at my hand. I wonder if they think I'm lying.??🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm not being materialistic I want others to know that he is taken also! Am I wrong? I know he has the money to purchase my ring, but I'm tired of nagging him. What should I do?
