So, my boyfriend's family had a late lunch for the family at 2pm today. My family had a late lunch at 2 also, and were hunting eggs at 4. I told at least 4 people in my family that my kids and I would be there right after leaving my boyfriend's lunch. At 3:45 people from my family started calling asking where I was, and I told them we were on our way. At 3:59 they called us to tell us they let the kids go ahead and hunt. My kids (5 & 6 yr olds) were HEARTBROKEN!! :(( I'm mad because not only did they NOT wait on us, but I spent MY money on over 100 eggs to be "hidden" today. My kids got none of them. Ughhh..but leave it to my wonderful boyfriend to go buy them each a toy and a movie to have our own easter fun at home just the four of us!
