Does anyone else have an EXTREMELY picky eater?

My son used to eat anything I put in front of him. He loved chicken and veggies and fruit. He will still eat most fruits, but nothing else healthy. If it's green he won't touch it. All he wants to eat is snack food and throws anything else I put on his tray. It's been like this for several months. Ugh. What can you do?

We went through this, too. Eventually, i broke his self-imposed vegitarian lifestyle by making the chicken very spicy (his favorite) and hiding it inside of a quesidilla. Maybe try making the foods he previously enjoyed a different way? Honestly, my little one still won't eat steak (a former favorite) or ground beef (unless it's in a red sauce). At least he's back on chicken. Babies a weird.

My daughter is a great eater usually. But every time she gets a new tooth she refuses. I have to only give her mushy food. Plus she's starting to get too distracted to want to eat. Busy girl! She hardly ate today according to her babysitter. I'll try when we get home.

My daughter has never been a good eater. She is 20 lbs. My mom says i used to be the same. Today she had little bit of peach little bit of banana, a small cheese pie and 4 french fries. I used to offer her only healthy choices but now i am happy as long as she eats something! She still breastfeeds so she still gets nutrition from there but i feel it is not enough. Her not eating also leads to her breastfeeding very often which means i barely get any time for myself. I ll be honest, i wish that she would eat and breastfeed less often when i see other kids eating like adults lol, but then again i know these precious moments will be gone and i will miss it so much! And although most of the time i know she is ok and developing wonderful, I can't help but feeling nervous about her not being well or something. But i guess that's just part of motherhood, if it's not this it's something else..

My son has had two horrible colds in the past month and WILL NOT EAT. Pediasure is the only reason he's alive pretty much. I can sometimes get him to eat crackers, or French fries. I've tossed all nutrition out the window and have been offering him just anything at all. The doctor has said it's the fact that he is sick, plus this is when they enter their "picky" phase. It's so stressful. He has never been a great eater and now it's just scary.
