Should I stop taking my birth control pill while I wait to get called about my iud

First thing I want to say is I'm not sexually active and I'm only taking bc for my period.

I've been having a lot of breakthrough bleeding/period that have been lasting 3+ weeks at a time. I get headaches and migraines with them, nausea cramps. Luckily I haven't had Heavy bleeding. Im just constantly feeling like crap. I got prescribed for an iud and i filled out the paperwork 2 weeks ago but they haven't called me letting me know it was in and ready to make an appointment for insertion. I called the other day and had to leave a voice mail with a specific person who hasn't called me back yet.

So I'm just wondering since I have no idea

When I'm going to get my iud should I just go ahead a stop my birth control if it's causing me problems or push through it?
