Guys how do you deal with your parents hating your SO ? Mine just get so mad when they see me with him.. and they blame me when they get mad at each other... I'm considering moving away... but I also feel i need my family... I've done tried talking to them.. and my SO was willing to try and work out there differences but today they ruined that Chance

Sometiems you just have to realize that beating a dead horse is no good. People will dislike what they dislike for whatever reason thats reasonable to them. If you love your man and you feel like you can be on your own, regardless of what they or whoever else has to say then be with him. But if they choose not to support thats their decision.

I have the opposite problem my husband hates my family because we are a very close family that talks almost daily and will do anything for each other. That wasn't how he was raised so he just doesn't understand and thinks we should fend for ourselves and have no help or friendly relationship with them.

They love my fiancee, and can't believe how long I wasted on my ex.
