All of that stuff needs to be taken out. No blankets on her or hanging over the side. No stuffies either. Use a sleep sack of you think she's cold.

It's not advised to have anything in the crib with them. It's also advised to have mesh bumpers if you're going to have any at all.

cribs are supposed to be almost completely bare. no blanket, no bumps (some say only mesh bumpers are ok but my doctor said none) and nothing else in the crib. for warmth you put her in a onesie and a sleep sack over it.

Absolutely not. NOTHING should be in that crib with the baby. Get rid of that diaper bag and the stuffed animals and the millions of blankets hanging up on the sides. The only thing that should be in that crib is your baby, a fitted sheet and an optional swaddle and pacifier. That's it.

Nothing in the crib but mattress and a tight fitting sheet. No pillow either! We have to stay one step ahead of their development...not mobile enough one day turns into taking choking sized items or creams or hand sanitizer out of the diaper bag the next. I wouldn't worry too much . Don't worry about the moms who say no and shame you . My sons slept with blankets and pillows and on top of that he sleeps on top of a quilt I folded for more vision and he's now 6 months and perfectly fine I just don't put choke hazards in there so he doesn't grab or roll onto them and choke . Hes got toys and diapers in his crib and all he does is when he wakes up plays with them lol she should be perfectly fine .

I'm not to sure that it's a good idea really to put anything else in crib with newborn or a baby that's not mobile it's just a safety factor! I mean you might get used to putting stuff in there and ultimately forget it's just a good idea not to!!
