Using Benadryl as a Sleep Aid?

Is it okay to use Benadryl as a sleep aid during pregnancy? I know it's safe to take in general just wondering if it's okay to use it like that. I don't have trouble falling asleep I just have a really hard time staying asleep. I'm up every 2-3 hours, awake for 2-3 hours & then fall back asleep for 2-3 hours.

Maybe once in a blue moon not I wouldn't do it all the time unless your doctor tells you it's ok. I know it's safe to take. Just check with your doctor.

I used it almost every night during pregnancy. My doctor advised up to 50mg if needed.

Totally, my OB told me to use that for allergies or sleeping aid. I've used to fairly often and everything is great !

Yes safe. I have so much insomnia and I have three other kids so I have to sleep to function.

I asked my doctor if Tylenol PM was ok, she said yes but all it is is Tylenol with Benadryl so just take Benadryl if you want it to help sleep. I wouldn't do it every day though. I take Melatonin pills sometimes and they help.
