Oliver Jameson•August 9, 2017 ❤️
The morning of 8-8-17 we went in for our induction due to baby having a rare chromosome disorder called TARP, IUGR and my blood pressure rising off and on. We started with cervidil but after 12 hours there was no change. We then had the foley bulb inserted which was a terrible experience in itself. That got me to a 4 and we began pitocin. After a couple hours I got the epidural so I would be prepared for a csection if baby showed signs of distress. We then took a nap but were woken by multiple nurses and doctors rushing me to the OR due to baby's heart rate dipping below 40 bpm. It all went quite quickly and before we knew it baby was taken into the next room and I was being stitched back up. Much to everyone's assumptions, our baby boy was breathing and received an 8 on his initial apgar test! He was intubated for precaution and brought in for us to see before he was taken to the NICU. He stared right at us and we instantly fell in love. The doctors are running multiple tests to determine anything that could be wrong and then helping us make decisions from there. At 3 days old, this kid has been through more than most adults. He is without a doubt our miracle baby❤️
