Experiences with a positive FFN?

Gabrielle

I am 24 weeks 1 day and I'm in the ante partum unit at my hospital. It started out that I hadn't felt my daughter move in 2 days but as soon as we got here she did so I thought I could go home but they hook me up to the monitor and sure enough I'm having real contractions. The last time I felt her I got this sharp pain in my belly and after it went away I didnt feel her again. since I had been having a lot of pelvic pain and pressure. So now that I'm hooked up and having contractions they do a Fetal Fibronectin test and we expected it to be negative...well it's positive. What was yalls experiences with a positive ffn? How long did you stay pregnant after positive. I was told that a positive at 22-24 weeks means there's a 60% chance of her coming in the next 4 weeks. So that doesn't sound good. I lost her twin earlier in the pregnancy so this has been very stressful. Thank you in advance!
