baby to thin?

my baby is almost 10 months..he weights 17pounds. I'm lucky if he eats more than breakfast. he looks thin..i want him to be a little chubbier. should I be worried about him? what's the normal weight for 10month old?

My baby is slim as well. He weights 18 pounds (10 months) his doc isnt concerned since he was 6 pounds at birth

My girl is 9.5 months and only about 17 lbs as well. She's growing on her curve so I'm not worried. 27 inches, so a bit on the small side. how long/tall is your LO? little o e

When we went in for our 9 month appt, he was 17 lbs and 28 in. I don't think he's grown much since, but he was in the 20-30% for his height and weight. the doc wasn't worried about it. If your doc isn't worried, I wouldn't be either. My baby doesn't eat that much either, it just depends on the day. Unless your doc says otherwise, I wouldn't worry.

As long as Paediatrician isn't worried I wouldn't be. Some babies thrive just well being smaller than others. My son on the other hand weighed in at 22lbs at 9 months, not sure how much hes gained since but my son loves to eat and will eat almost anything and everything. You're doing great mama!!

My daughter is 17lbs and 28in long. Doc was not worried at all since she's still riding *her* curve. If it's a dip from their curve then that's when the doc will help troubleshoot.
