ttc#2 after cesarean with #1 how long did you wait? anyone?

Hey ladies. I had my 1st this past Aug 2016. I know I want another and so does my SO probably not as soon as I but I just wanna get in touch with woman in alike situations.

I had a c-section late in December of 2016, my OB told me its recommended to wait one year minimum before getting pregnant again to give her uterus time to heal. We are ttc #2 now and this is our first cycle. Technically it’s only been 11 months since my c-section, but I don’t think we’ll get pregnant right away as our first took a year to conceive.

I had a c-section in August and my doctor said as long as I don’t mind having another cesarean I was fine to start trying whenever I wanted to.

I have the same question. I had a C-section with my son in April 2016 and we are starting to think about trying for another baby. I remember reading somewhere that it's good to give your body at least a year to recover after birth and at least 18 months if you had a C-section. I'm curious to see what others have to say.
