Okay.. I've always struggled with what I believe is cystic acne- although never diagnosed. I suffer from large, painful, under the skin pimples that end up leaving large wounds on me if I try to pop them. Which I'll admit, I do. Unfortunately I also suffer from a skin picking disorder and these two things do not go hand in hand. I was dealing with this acne problem for years, although for the last 6 months or so it seemed to clear up. I went through a pretty emotional breakup fairly recently and I believe that is why it is coming back. What are some products you ladies use on this type of acne before and/or after it becomes inflamed and open. Although I'm basically a pro at covering this problem with my famous "cake face", it is quite painful and I would rather not be covering it at all in the first place. Send me your products- over the counter, prescribed, homeopathic, anything!! (I've added a picture of me with makeup for self conscious reasons, I don't normally look like the first picture.. ahh)
