Don't get me wrong, my town I grew up in is beautiful. But I grew up in a super small town (maybe about 16,000 population) and it's just one of those towns where everyone knows everyone. If one secret gets out, the whole town will know. What is most annoying is that in this small town there quite a few rich families and their kids get away with everything. Literally. They've been caught partying in the high school parking lot with underage drinkers and drugs and none of the rich kids got in trouble because the cops know their parents or the parents pay the cops good money because their kids reputation is sooo important. *note the sarcasm there. Some of these kids think they can do whatever they want because they never get in trouble. One time, two guys from the football team ganged up on a little girl and younger guy and they beat the crap out of both of them while wearing their jerseys. Someone caught them and reported them and their jersey numbers. Guess what? Cops knew who they were and they did not get in trouble. My hometown is like out of a tv show with how ridiculous the drama is. I've moved out of state because I got married and I do miss my town because it is a beautiful town and all my family is there. Despite all the drama. I was lucky enough to grow up with two amazing parents and a huge family. My whole family is amazing and supportive. Just wish some of the people in my town would just grow up.
