How much should each feed be?

My daughter is 10 days old today, and I've been in the hospital with a bad kidney infection for the last 3 days. I've been pumping while I'm here so my husband can feed her. When I left she was only drinking 1.5-2oz of breast milk. We were also doing occasional direct breast feeding. Since I've been gone my husband says she's been eating 5 oz! 
Am I crazy to think that's a lot? I mean if she really needs that much that's fine but I'll have to start supplementing since I only pump around 4 ounces each time I pump..

That is a lot for a brand new baby. Is your husband practicing "paced feeding" when feeding her? You can google how that works so you guys avoid stretching baby's tummy. This is the size of your baby's tummy below. 
For reference, my daughter is 6 months old and when I'm away from her, she takes 4.5 ounces of breastmilk every 3 hours.

That's sounds like a little too much. How often is he feeding her? For perspective my son was considered on the high side when he ate but 4 ounces was the maximum he could take in one feeding without spitting  a lot back up because his eyes were bigger than his stomach. Is your daughter spitting up a lot? I would say she probably shouldn't eat more than 4 ounces every 3 to 4 hours. Also, maybe dad is thinking she's hungry when she really just wants to suck. My son wanted to suck constantly so we got him a pacifier and after her 4 ounces I would give him his pacifier and he'd be content.
