Tips on stopping night feed and helping baby sleep without nursing

I now work night shift and need help!!!!

My daughter is almost 7 months and exclusively breastfed. She wakes up once or twice a night and I always just breastfed her back to sleep without a problem.

BUT....I started working night shift and it's hard on my husband to get her to sleep without breastfeeding. She takes a bottle fine but still wants to nurse to sleep when I'm gone. Last time i worked, my husband struggled for 2 hours to put her to bed 😖 She also refuses her pacifier now.

Anyone went through something similar? If I didn't work night shift, this wouldn't be a problem 😔

Also, I haven't tried sleep training yet but I'm wondering if that's the only option. I'm not interested in the cry-it-out method (at least not yet).
