How do you organize the clothes in your closet?

I organize my clothes by type (Example: All my sleeveless tops are together, long sleeves together, dresses, etc.) My husband organizes his clothes by color and thinks I'm a crazy person for organizing the way I do. 🤣 How do you organize your closet?

Type, colour, style and they all have to go one the hanger the correct way too. My closet is a minefield to organize if you don't know what you're doing.

Both. Skinny strap tank tops, tank tops, short sleeved, 3/4 sleeve, long sleeve t's, sweaters, cardigans/open sweaters, zip up hoodies, then hoodies. Each goes from dark to light. All facing the same direction. All white plastic hangers. 
My life may be an unorganized mess, but at least I know exactly where each article of clothing in my closet is. 👌🏼

I organize my closet by doing the laundry and shoving all the clothes I didn't wear that week pushed further back into the closet. The clothes I wear often are in the front and the rest are in the back.
