What nationality is your last name and moms maiden name?

I know some are you are married but this only applies to the last name given to you by birth and your mothers maiden name. I do know there are circumstances where people have gone with only their moms last name if dad was never there and vise versa. Which ever the case I would love to hear where your last name nationality is from. My dads last name is Norwegian (our family is from Norway) and my moms is Spanish (From Mexico and Spain)

My last name is Armenian. I actually had a woman tell me once that the -ian at the end is actually at the end of a lot of Armenian last names! Mulleian...pretty cool. And my mother is a Jones lol

Maiden name is Scottish and mothers was thought to be German but research has shown to be English.

My last name is French, my dads side is from France. My moms maiden name is German. I would be technically third generation here in Canada from my moms side as my grand parents immigrated here during the Second World War.
