You can't tell gestational age by belly size. Up until about 12 weeks your uterus is still down below your pubic bone, so any bump you see is baby bloat :) The only way to tell how far along you are is through an ultrasound.

Sometimes it's just a lot of bloating. I had mad bloating very early on but I also found out I was carrying twins around week 8. I also thought I was 7 weeks when I was actually 8.

This is 9 weeks with twins. My uterus is measuring about 16weeks
