Is this normal??

I hadn't had a proper period since about April this year. The periods I did have where just spotting and nothing on the pad only when I wiped this carried on for 3 more cycles except this one. This cycle started out the same way and has gotten progressively worse. Yesterday I have horrific diarrhoea and pains that where just unbearable today the pains are so intense I cannot stand up straight and that not normal for me. I have also leaked through several pads this morning and they are the heavy duty pads for heavy flows. I have clumps in it and it's just not right for me at all. It looks like I've murdered someone. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? We have been trying to conceive for 19 months with no luck I am going for ultrasounds on the 5th September to test for pcos and endometriosis
