Is 27 weeks too early for baby shower?

October 15th I planned on having it because birthdays and holidays are getting in the way... September is way too early and my birthday is the 16th and my daughters bday is 29th my nephews bday is October 1st then you have Halloween being celebrated on the 28th or 29th, my friend is having her daughters 2nd birthday party on October 21th.... my nieces bday is November 9th my sisters bday is November 1st my daughters bday is November 19th and then the week after is thanksgiving and November is when ppl start buying Christmas stuff then December is Christmas and my dads bday and my due date is on January 9th. It's soooo much to consider.

do whatever works best for you. I had mine at 25 weeks because I have a lot of issues that i knew would likely lead to bed rest and early delivery.... at first everyone was saying I should wait until closer to 34 weeks but I ignored them and I'm glad I did... at 28 weeks we started seeing signs of some serious issues and I'm now being seen 4 days a week by my doctor, he is hoping we make it to 34 weeks but in all reality baby could come any time now. we are putting the finishing touches on the nursery this weekend, my hospital bag is packed and ready and I'm only 29 weeks... so glad I didn't wait to have my shower!!!

I had mine at 29 weeks because I'm a school teacher and it made sense to get all the work done for it and have it before I had to go back to work at 35 weeks pregnant lol (Two family weddings and the showers for these weddings as well as my nephews first birthday made it be sooner as well.) I'm so glad I did it early!! I wasn't tired and uncomfortable, I enjoyed every minute of it and got to organize the nursery and have what I need to pack for the hospital.

Do what works best for you! I'm having mine October 28th but around noon or 1pm and that way when it's done, people still have their days to go do whatever is planned whether it be Halloween parties or there's a musical going on that day at my old high school, where my sister and a couple family members will be in. They will have plenty of time to get there after the baby shower. I wanted the baby shower to be nightmare before Christmas themed so it was imperative that it was as close to Halloween as possible. Like I said, whatever works for you!! ❣️
