My 6 week old little boy is gaining weight rather quickly. At birth he weighed 7lbs 6 oz and now he's 11lbs 3 oz. I'm exclusively breastfeeding him for about 22-25 mins. Every 2.5-3 hours. His doctor wants me to shorten it to 15-20 mins. I've been trying but he gets so upset and wants to eat sooner. I know they say you can't over feed a breastfed baby, but I believe the doctors concern is his reflux/spitting up.

I'm torn because I see how uncomfortable he is when he spits up and even wakes up at night, but then he cries because he's hungry!

Trying my best but I'm getting so discouraged. 😭 I don't want him to have reflux or hungry pains!
