...and our friends like to drink and smoke. Which is fine if we have our parents take our little guy for the night. My thoughts are tho that this being the first time he's away from us overnight still one of us, either me or my husband, needs to be sober in case something would happen where we would need to go get him. We aren't big on smoking but have occasionally with these friends we'll be having over, with that being said I'm curious if smoking and not drinking would be better to partake in than drinking. Hell I know kids in college that smoked up before class. I just want to make sure I'm ok if my mother calls for any reason and if I would need to go Drive I could do so a few hours after smoking??? What are your thoughts or should I just have fun since we're getting a baby sitter? Yes, parents would be with baby until next morning.

Ok and 2nd part of this question: if sober should I just keep him at home with me and not let him stay overnight with my mother? We have an upstairs where the bedrooms are and downstairs where the tv living room is. I could have a monitor on him. Thoughts?
