I just got engaged August 5th and I'm so unbelievably excited to marry my best friend. The only thing that bums me out a little are snide comments from people who are telling us we're too young and throwing away our 20s. We're both currently 22 and we'll be 23 by the time we get married next summer. Our families are both incredibly supportive of us getting married. Mark, my fiancé, is a 5th grade teacher and I'm a PhD student. I love Mark so much and I'm frustrated that I'm letting people get inside my head. Sorry, I guess this is a rant more than anything! But if anyone went through a similar situation, I'd love to hear from you!
