10 month old avoids eye contact.

Please nonnegative comments. Just concerned because I recently noticed my just turned 10 month old son avoids eye contact sometimes with me and other people such as his grandmother and aunts. I was talking to him in the morning and he will look at me as I talk and make noises back to me. When I smile at him he will smile back, he crawls and stands him self up on tables and furniture, he takes steps when I hold his hands and try to walk him, pediatrician says he looks fine when I brought it up and they'll check him again at 12 months. Any one else going something similar?
