Did you tell people sooner or later with rainbow pregnancy?

Question

I had a miscarriage in January and just found out I'm pregnant again kinda by surprise (it really does happen when you stop trying which is so annoying). I'm currently 5w 3d and don't have a dr appt for 2 more weeks. 
Anyway, I'm also in the process of moving and have all the goodby events planned. Part of me wants to tell people before I leave 'ya I'm not drinking because I'm pregnant and I am SO excited about it.' Another part of me wants to wait till we have our first appointment to tell anyone because after a miscarriage I am so scared/nervous/anxious AF. 
Bad things can always happen tho and this baby deserves to be celebrated. 
I'm torn. I want to tell select people, but I also don't. 
What do y'all think? What did you do?

We waited until 12 weeks with our first little one, we lost her at 14. I plan on announcing immediately with our rainbow, people deserve to know about our sweetie. More importantly, she/he needs to be celebrated for whatever time they are on this earth! 💜

we waited till 12 weeks and it was Halloween and i dressed up thing one and two. we were scared to announce especially my DH, but once we did at 12 weeks it felt way better and safer

I lost my first pregnancy at 7 weeks and I told very few ppl. When I had the MC I was devastated and having to tell those very few ppl made it even worse. I am currently 6weeks pregnant (so nervous as hell since I'm getting closer to the dreaded 7weeks) haven't said a word to anyone. This time around, if we could we would have keep it for ourselves until I'm at least 16 weeks, but we will have to brake it to our family (only both our parents) on the 8 weeks mark. Since we have a very intimate celebration coming and well I love wine to much and everybody knows that about me...So, I am absolutely NOT credible when I refuse wine or champagne. I already pulled the antibiotics excuse, so I cannot use it again. I'm really worried as I'm getting superstitious about telling early...

We lost our first at 17 weeks. We told family at 17 weeks, and close friends after the anatomy scan. We will not be announcing on social media until poor little boy is born. 
It's all personal preference. There is no "right" or "safe" time to tell. The first time around we told at 10 weeks, and then lost Bub at 17. You should do whatever makes you happy.

I did and don't regret it. My 3rd pregnancy ended at 15 weeks the day after we told everyone. With my 4th pregnancy I told my family and close friends but sadly miscarried at 5w 3d. I'm thankful I had the support of my friends and family. Couldn't imagine going through it alone.

I told as soon as the stick dried lol.... my first pregnancy I lost only my immediate family knew and they didn't know until I was 10 weeks and I miscarried 2 or 3 weeks later I believe.

I was 6 months before we decided to announce. It all depends how you all feel about announcing. We let our friends and family know sooner but just weren't ready to let everyone know until then. I think I was just nervous about letting everyone know after having my miscarriage.

We told everyone when I was 4 weeks and 3 days.   I shared my loss of my daughter and talked about it on social media.  So I knew I would share if I miscarried.   You tell the people that you ekkk be comfortable sharing a miscarriage with.    I hope that made sense

We told our parents and my sister at 6w. I figure I don't want to do this alone and the extra support and prayers are always good! I'm waiting to tell my close friends until later on, 12w if I can! Best of luck ✨

We were secretive and planned somewhat fancy announcements for family the first two times, and when we had to tell them we lost the baby it was brutal. This time around we were open about what was happening at each step (fertility treatments), and that actually has taken a ton of the pressure off of us. Yes, they knew sooner, but it wasn't a big surprise. This pregnancy has already gone better than the last two, so we're optimistic :)
