Just a bored ramble 😂

So my husband and I have been trying TTC for 6 months now, AF due end of the month which will take it to 7. Fingers crossed she doesn't come!

When we started trying thought it would happen instantly as we are both young and fit (me 22 and him 29) and everybody said that when we start trying it'll happen quickly and that they were similar ages and got pregnant on their first month trying etc.

I think we definitely went about it the wrong way at the beginning, I bought ovulation kits starting with clear blue then realising I can't be spending this much a month once we got to our 3rd month with still no BFP. So I brought some cheap ones of Amazon (my god are they hard to read) and I literally used them for one month and decided I had enough of spending money for something natural that if its going to happen it will. We now just have sex and my goodness is it good! Using the ovulation kits had put such a strain on our sex life it had become a chore. We were having sex because the test was positive even if we were drained and had no energy which was massively impacting our bedroom activities.

It definitely made me realise how much it impacted my husband as he felt we were only having sex to TTC, which in a way I guess it was. Now it's so much more relaxed, we try do so it every other day but you know what it doesn't matter if you don't just have fun trying to make your baby!
