Metformin or metformin with time release?

Which one have you used? Or which one has worked for you?

Answer

I tried the extended release formula first, but last time I went to my doctor, I think she forgot that she'd been prescribing me the ER formula, and she accidentally prescribed the regular formula, which I've been taking.  Not sure I feel the difference yet.

I have tried both. I preferred the time release. I thought it gave me less side effects.
