I feel cheated.. I don't know if it's the sleep deprivation or what... but I feel like I was cheated out of the newborn stage. Since the day my daughter was born she has been extremely alert. She was long for a newborn but didn't weigh all that much.. I feel like I gave birth to a skinny 3 month old. 🙄 but seriously she sleeps through the night, stays alert during the day, never had the newborn look, and acts chill 24/7.. I wasn't even able to get newborn pictures done because she was wake the whole time doing her own thing... I just wish I could have had a small, chubby, sleepy baby. 😭
