sorry this may be long but I don't know what to do. my nan died in April and we had a lot of problems with her medical care, the doc in charge withheld info from me about her condition and didn't update the system which led to hours of emergency docs in er searching for info and disturbing my nan trying to find out what was wrong. I spoke to the docs surgery 3 days later to ask why she didn't tell me 'she didn't think I needed to know'! I didn't put a complaint in but I did let them know I wasn't happy with what had happened. fast forward to now I've had the same gp for over 4yrs, I've never had a problem, she's always been great until recently when I spoke to the practice about my nan, I went 3 days ago and she completely ignored my concerns, wouldn't even speak about some of my symptoms and cut my appointment time short, I'm not getting my meds that's on repeat prescription with them (twice this has happened in 3 months )and they get angry when I ask why, I feel I'm not getting proper treatment because I asked questions about my nan but I'm worried if I complain they'll tell me to go somewhere else when I've been at that doctors since birth! what would you do? I'm in the UK on the nhs is if that helps.
