Ultrasound??

I found out I am 6 weeks 5 days pregnant the other day, I see everyone getting ultrasounds at 7-9 weeks? My doctor wont even see me until 10 weeks. I want to be able to know my baby is healthy so far.

as long as there is no bleeding or severe cramping baby is fine. just relax and don't stress about stuff you can't control... I didn't get my first ultrasound until about then...12 weeks.. there's nothing to see right now but a sac anyway... they're better the further along..that way you don't end up with lots of different due dates.

I only had an ultrasound at 7 weeks is because it was a dating scan. I have PCOS so they can't go based off my missed periods because sometimes I just don't have any. I still had to wait 2 weeks to go in after my BFP and I thought I
Might be around 9 weeks, but no only 7. Just try not to stress too much, I've heard 12 weeks is usually the normal range to be seen. Good luck.

I only went in yesterday at 6w3d because the ER told me to follow up with a doctor asap because I was bleeding.  All is well now. I did have to have a transvaginal ultrasound to see our baby. Just looks like a little peanut on the screen. She actually said they had to do it that way because my vagina is tilted backward.  Don't like having things stuck up my vagina though,  so I'm looking forward to growth so we can see through less invasive means.

Every doctor is different. My OB wants to see her patients between 8-11 weeks for the first visit. I got my first transvaginal ultrasound at 9 weeks.

Lots of women have early scans due to previous complications or miscarriage. I know ladies who IVF are offered scans too. My doctor won't scan me till 12 weeks even though I've lost 2. So I have to book private and have my scan later on today

It's because baby is too small, unless you want a transvaginal ultrasound then they CANT refuse it , I got mine done at 10 weeks
