I'm being bridesmaid at my sisters wedding in September but I'm Ttc now..

I'm in a wedding in June and another one next July. My husband and I are TTC now and both friends had the nerve to "suggest" I don't get pregnant right around their weddings. How frickin' rude! My reproductive plans are up to me and my husband, not someone else! Do what you gotta do, and if you are showing in Sept you can get a maternity dress. If they want you in the wedding now, they should want you pregnant too! Good luck!

So don't put your life on hold. My sister was pregnant during my wedding and my sister in law that I wanted in my wedding got pregnant and her due date was a month before so she couldn't be in it. I didn't hold it against her at all and wasn't mad at her or anything. You gotta do what's best for you.

No that's NOT selfish! You can't put your life on hold for others. If you want a baby go for it! If your sister is a good person she won't care if you are pregnant in her wedding! My bridesmaid (cousin/best friend) was pregnant when I asked her to be in my wedding. I knew there was a chance she would be a full 9 months pregnant (HELL even possibly go into labor at my wedding) and I could of cared less! It would of been an amazing thing for her and I to share such happy moments in our lives together. She ended up giving birth 2 weeks before the wedding.

Am I selfish?
