Hard lump that comes and goes??

Okay so I'm 17 weeks right now and this morning I felt cramping and then my stomach got really hard for about two minutes and then went away is that the baby or something else?

That would be braxton hicks, I've been getting them since I was about 20 weeks, its pretty normal.

It's called Braxton Hicks in the uk where im from .. it's the baby jus practicing for Birth .. altho I didn't get any till I was 30+weeks
