I'm 8 days late on my period and have a couple symptoms so I took a test today. I took it, let the dye slide through it and there was no second line so I just threw it in my bag. I didn't wait the full 3 minutes to check it. I loaded my dog up for a walk and forgot about the test. Assuming it was negative. Exactly 20 mins after taking the test (I knew because I texted my husband) I was in my bag and remembered I took the test and went to look at it and to my surprise it was positive.

I know all about evap lines because I've gotten them before but usually those lines don't appear til like 2 hours to a day after I have taken a HPT.

Also, not sure if this matters but I opened the test after seeing the line & my test strip is still wet. I thought evap lines showed up once the test strip was dry.

The line wasn't/isn't faint... it looks like a true positive I'm just not sure when it appeared. Anywhere from 3 minutes to 20 minutes because I didn't check. I will retest in the am, I would just like to know if anyone knows an estimate of when evap lines usually appear.
