Hair Evolution ✌

Jeanie

In high school I had crazy color highlights in my hair. first I did purple, then I did pink. I decided to go back to brunette which is what I've been all my life, but I secretly missed my crazy colors. After a couple months of debating and being bored with brunette I took the plunge again. AND I'M NEVER GOING BACK. I first dyed my hair in April of 2016 and have felt more like myself and more free than I have in a long time. I feel like my hair reflects my personality and I LOVE IT. Here is my advice for anyone that wants to do it or has been thinking about it: yes...you have to bleach your hair. with the exception of highlights I never bleached my hair. bleaching it for this will NOT make your hair fall out so don't let people try and tell you it does. -Less is more. I wash my hair every 3 days in COLD water to help it last. I use pravana locked in colors which are more permanent than the stuff that washes out in 3-4 weeks. -its worth it. seriously. if you have been on the fence about it just take the plunge. I'm lucky enough to have a sister that's a cosmetologist and does it out of her home for a cheaper rate. it will be expensive

but so so worth it. ---Finally here's my evolution/timeline! 1)Brunette 2) Pink with teal peakaboo 3) Blue and purple pinwheel 4) Blue 5) Purple roots with purple, pink, red, and blue throughout. Getting ready to get my hair redone and will be exchanging the pink for teal! *Sidenote- last picture my hair is drastically shorter. This is NOT from bleach or color. This was from the stress of work and I have switched offices and my hair is growing back! If you hair is going to fall out when you do this is will do it DURING you getting it colored, not months later like mine did. Enjoy♡

Live life in color!
