genetic testing?

Question

anyone test positive for being a carrier to something extremely rare and then have your partner have to go in for testing to see if they are a carrier also?   baby tested negative and I have two other children that I never did the testing for so this is all new to me.   any helpful insight would be appreciated.

My husband are both cancer survivors and are both carriers of (different) genetically linked cancers. We went through IVF with PGS ( pre genetic testing ) to prevent passing it on. Currently 15 weeks + 2 with our only healthy embryo. Good luck 👍🏼

I tested positive for being a cystic fibrosis carrier.  That was shocking.
But husband isn't so we are safe:)

We tested prior to conceiving since we are both of Jewish descent and I'm Cajun as well. 
Luckily did not both carry the same risks.

I'm sry I'm confused on your questions your baby did test positive and you need more test? Or everything is ok and nothing showed up
