Moctails??

Does anyone know any good moctail recipes? I'm 8 weeks and still keeping my pregnancy on the down low. All my friends go to the bars on weekends and they're starting to question why I haven't been drinking. Any suggestions?

I would order a seltzer with a splash of cranberry and a lime. I typically would drink it with vodka also. It fooled all my friends at a wedding!

Hubby and I had some friends over last week. I wasn't planning on telling them about the pregnancy, even though we are past 12 weeks. I was pouring them some wine, and when they asked why I wasn't having any, I said I prefer to get my calories from food rather than alcohol. We just chatted about that briefly, then I couldn't help it....I yelled out "I AM NOT DRINKING BECAUSE I AM PREGNANT!!" I guess I couldn't keep it in 😊

Orange juice. People will just think it's vodka orange and it's super good for you :)

Whatever you order (soda or juice) just ask the bartender for a lime or lemon and one of those stirrer straws. It makes it look like a cocktail.

When my friend was pregnant she ordered a virgin Pina Colada! It looks the same as a regular and its super yummy.

I hated having to give up alcohol, but there are lots of great options! I've ordered a virgin mojito. Tastes about the same and looks the same if you're trying to hide the pregnancy. Always ask the bartender for virgin drinks they suggest. I went to a Xmas party and the bartender made me a unique drink (wish I got the recipe). Never hurts to ask 😉

I have been drinking a drink called a Cinderella - it's club soda, orange juice, pineapple and lime juice and you can add grenadine if you want to but it's optional.

I made a mama sunrise. Lol it's OJ with grenadine in it. Looks just as fancy as a tequila sunrise and it's good!

I had been on a very low carb diet right up until I concieved. Alcholo is a no go on low carb so I just told my friends I was still doing the low carb and offered to be DD. Good luck! 😊
