AF has terrible timing

So I'm supposed to get my period tomorrow! 😞👎🏼

Saturday my boyfriend, my daughter and I are going on a float trip with our family. I wear tampons but how the heck am I supposed to deal with that going down the river?! I'm sure I'll have to change at least 3-4 times I'm sure. So what do I do?!?! AF always has bad timing and comes to visit when I have plans.

Do any of you ladies have suggestions?
