After 17 hrs of natural labor, I was induced, and pitocin took me from 2-8cm in 2 hrs!!! Thought it would be a breeze!!! Sadly, it took another 5 to get from 9-10 😳 I didn't want an epidural, so I didn't sign the form at the time. I liked the Nubain! Yes it made me feel drunk, but I haven't been drunk in 9 months so it didn't bother me!!! Sadly, they broke my water at 3cm and I had NO IDEA what awaited me!!! It was the most excruciatingly painful moment of my life. Last summer I had a Kidney Stone and I described the pain to friends as a 10. The agonizing pain I felt in that moment made my kidney stone seem like a 3. Thankfully, after 1.5hrs of pushing, Everleigh Gray entered the world!!!!
