Please help!

I am so confused on what is going on. My bbt signifies that I ovulated last Tuesday. Got a positive opk at the end of Thursday so should have ovulated Friday/Saturday. Have been checking my cervix for about two months and something is off. My cervix went from being medium height and firmness after ovulation on Friday to being super high (tmi but have to use two fingers to reach it) and very soft today. It even feels almost open (and I have a hard time distinguishing between open and closed). I'm ttc my first. My bbt signifies that I have ovulated, been high for 6-7 days now, so what could it mean? And advice or past experience would be great!
