It doesn't just cause cervical cancer. It can also cause warts on hands and feet. I have it and I have a couple warts on my hands from it. I've had it since I was 15. And you don't need to have sex to get it. My son is 6 and he has it too. His body fought it though and so he only got 1 wart.

I'm with megan I was diagnosed in 2012 only had one outbreak and my body fought it off by itself but it did cause precancerous cells on my cervix and cause my fertility to decrease dramatically. Mine was in the form of warts on the inside of my vagina. But I'm pregnant now so it didn't cause me to be completely infertile thankfully even though my doctor was afraid it had due to the severity I had.
