when you get induced is it the same as letting your body go into labor natural by itself?
i've had a really hard preg and my doc said she would induce me at 39 weeks but i was told by a friend that when u get induced the pain is 10x worse is this true?
yea i know either way labor is tuff but i wanna know from experienced mothers it's getting induced worser? 😐

It depends on what they use to induce you. Talk to your dr about the methods and specifically ask if those methods are known to be more painful. There's always pain relief options when you're in labor. Either way you get baby in end so it's all good!

My natural labour was worse than my induced one.. I guess it's just a bit hit and miss and everyone is different. When I was induced my baby seemed very ready to come, and was very very low.. so maybe that's why it didn't seem as bad. X

My problem with induction is that the contractions are harder which can lead to fetal distress and c-section. Not to mention if your cervix isn't ready, you could have a failed induction which can also mean c-section. It's always better to wait for spontaneous labor as long as mama and baby are healthy and placenta is functioning well.
