I don't love the name Euphemia but I know that if I end up having a girl down the road I want to name her after my great grandmother Ophelia - I plan on using it as a middle name. If Euphemia has significance to you I suggest using it for a middle name :) if you just like vintage names maybe try

Adelaide, Amelia, Eleanor, Eliza etc here is a link to some vintage baby names making a comeback might give you some inspiration :)

Personally, I really do not like that name. I researched it and there has not been a documented Euphemia since 1910 and before that it had a .0006% popularity, so it's definitely rare. However, if that's what you want to name your little girl, then go for it! Apparently it means "to speak well", derived from Greek ευ "good" and φημι (phemi) "to speak". Also,  Saint Euphemia was an early martyr from Chalcedon. So it has a cool background. If you love it, then go for it, just personally I do not like it.
