Do you guys believe in "brujería"? (Witchcraft/ black magic)

So recently in my parents hometown in Mexico, there's been rumors that this lady is a bruja (witch), or does brujería on people to make them, in a way, hypnotized to where they only love her and want to do everything for her.
For example give her money and other gifts.

Yes, I fully believe in it, I do not practice  it...... But its  also a known fact  its not to be used  how shes using it.  There  could  be repercussions.

yes i believe in it. my moms hometown was known for the brujas that lived there, and my great grandma was a witch and she opened portals that I don't think she ever closed because so many things happen at her house years later. ex: paranormal things

Yes. It's a spiritual practice (imo) many cultures world wide have similar practices. There's got to be some truth to it. For healing purposes I believe so. When it comes to black magic I believe u can summons spirits to do your bidding through spiritual oppression, but I don't believe in it actually having an effect directly on the person being "cursed" 
Like they can't make a voodoo doll and drown the doll then all of a sudden your dead. But spiritual oppression can make people lose themselves

I kinda do believe in witchcraft, I think a lot of it is a placebo affect thing but that's not a bad thing, if it's still gives people what they wanted then great, whatever works right. Is the term brujería associated with a certain type of witchcraft though? Because that may change whether or not a believe in that in particular.

Yes, grew up around it. 21 Divisiones/Dominican Voudou has been a part of my family for at least five to six generations before me.
