Before I miscarried in May I was 8 weeks and 4 days at my first ultrasound which is obviously like a week or so ahead of what you're asking but I heard the heartbeat then.. 159. So I dunno.. just ask your ultrasound tech or I'm sure he/she will tell you. Good luck!

You will be able to see it but most likely not hear it until later on! Most won't use dopplers that early on due to it hurting the baby's ears is what I was told.
