Can a doctor tell if the fluid is low in an ultrasound???

yes! I go once a week for an ultrasound to have mine checked. so far so Good! 😊

Yes they can tell- they measure it in 4 quadrants- it gives them a number and that number is blended and used on a scale to indicate low, normal or high fluid levels. Not all ultrasound techs will automatically just check at an ultrasound unless instructed to by the doctor!

Oh ok because I had blood work drawn because I thought I might have cholestasis  and I guess on the result sheet it showed I was low but I had an ultrasound today in the morning and they said everything was good.

Yes. I don't know of any other way they would measure it.
