Metformin success??

Question

My doctor just put me on a medicine called metformin to help regulate my cycles and ovulation. I've heard of the pill for people with diabetes and pre diabetics, but never with woman TTC. Wondering if anyone has used this method and had success?

I did. I conceived within 2 cycles of taking it. In 1st cycle, I started taking it after ovulation so I would say I got bfp with taking it in 1 full cycle .

Metformin also causes hyper fertility.

I was recently put on it as well but I have PCOS so they say women with it have insulin resistance and metformin helps your body handle the insulin which in turn helps you lose weight resulting in regulating your periods!
