Dropping that 2:00 a.m. bottle π«π€ππ΄
My son is up like clockwork between 12:30 and 2:00 and screams until he gets a bottle. Meanwhile, he won't finish more than half of his first bottle in the morning, so it doesn't seem like he *needs* this overnight bottle. He had a few weeks where he slept right through at first. Pediatrician confirmed it this morning, he shouldn't be getting a bottle during the night. Soooo I just spent an hour consoling my son who just could not stay asleep without that bottle. I got him to sleep a few times in my arms only for him to wake up screaming when I put him in the crib. I let him initially cry in there for 15 mins before even going in. Finally after an hour I gave him a full bottle and he passed out instantly.
I'm hoping to gradually push this bottle back to his morning wake up to eliminate it, but tonight made me terrified that it won't work.
Has anyone successfully dropped the 2:00 am bottle?! I'm losing it over here.
PS: he goes to bed at 6:30, falls asleep anytime between then at 7:15 (this has become more and more of a struggle lately too) then he gets up around 5:45 - 6:15 for the day.
