I've been trying since June 2016. Had an ectopic in February 2017 and I haven't gotten pregnant on my own. I think that I have an issue with my uterine lining being too thin because my periods are light and only about 1.5 days. I turn 34 next month.

I asked my OBGYN what the next steps were through email and I was immediately referred to an outside fertility clinic where my insurance will only cover 50% of the bills.

Is this normal or should I get a second opinion from a different OBGYN?? I thought we would at least try medication before I was kicked to a specialist. Please help and advice??
