Chocolate chip pancakes for 9 month old? Yes or no?

I want to give my son a chocolate chip pancake but I'm not sure if that's okay to do. Could this harm him? He eats all different types of food but I haven't given him chocolate yet. He eats very very healthy but I wanted a little treat. Is it okay?

Chocolate is on the no no list our doctor gave us until at least one, so I would say no just based on that.

Just a small bit. Chocolate isn't good for babies. Make sure they don't have a lactose allergy though. My son can't eat pancakes because if that, because the dry mixes contain milk.
