How early do you think a baby can swim in a pool?

My friend just had a baby. Baby is 1 month and a half and mom is wondering when baby can start going in pools. TIA 😊 should

I said 6-9 months only because babies under 6 months can't even have sunscreen put on them. So I really don't think that pool water would be great for them either. But that's just my opinion

My sons a year and he's never been in a pool or anything other than a bath so idk it just seems too scary to me
